Following last weekends exciting Warhammer Day at my local store I have managed to obtain a set of the metal objective markers and order the new plastic sister model to bring aid to worriers of Rynn.
During one of the events of the day we had a rare alliance between our very own Captain Derek and Lord Primarch of the Ultramarines, Guilliman, as they entered the pit to face not 1, not 2 but 3 bloodthirster. Whilst in the pit Derek and Guilliman managed to take on the first bloodthirster both being wounded heavily. When the second bloodthirster engaged the imperium brothers it proved too much for them for both Guilliman and Derek.
Following a swift recovery, Derek decided he wanted to go back into the pit to regain some pride and vengeance. During this attempt Captain Derek managed to heavily wound a bloodthirster before being nearly fatally wounded. It was at this point Derek stood back up, put all his power into the fist of vengeance relic and managed to slay the bloodthirster.
Following his return to the main Crimson Fleet Pendro Kanto has now granted the title of Derek the Daemon Slayer upon the captain.
